Parking Lot Manager 7.0

Parking Lot Manager is a comprehensive management and security application designed for monitoring vehicle activity within parking facilities, residential neighborhoods, or other environments where vehicle authorization status is essential.

This software is primarily intended for administrators overseeing private parking areas in residential complexes, condominium communities, commercial properties, as well as neighborhood watch organizations. It facilitates efficient tracking of multiple vehicles, making it a practical tool for fleet management as well.

The user interface allows for vehicle identification via VIN barcode scanning or manual entry of license plate numbers and VINs through a keypad. Upon initiating a search, the application checks whether the vehicle has been previously recorded and, if so, retrieves its information. New entries can be added by selecting the "Add Vehicle" option, with manual entry available when barcode scanning is not feasible.

When a VIN is scanned or entered, Parking Lot Manager automatically populates details such as the vehicle's year, make, model, and trim level. Additional information—including color, license plate number, parking space identifier, and specific notes—can be entered to enhance record detail. Users can also attach photos of the vehicle, license plate, or owner for identification purposes. An optional timestamp feature allows tracking of vehicle ingress and egress times with a single tap.

The application displays the list of recorded vehicles in a sortable table that includes thumbnail images. Sorting options include plate number, vehicle make, or parking spot designation for streamlined review. Tapping on an individual entry reveals comprehensive details that can be edited as needed.

The VIN barcode scanner functionality requires a device equipped with an autofocus camera. The VIN recognition covers North American vehicles and light trucks with 17-digit VINs manufactured from 1984 onward.
